About Me: My name is Daniel Gabriel and I go by Danny. I am a 17 year-old male from Midland, Michigan. I am a junior at H. H. Dow High School. I spend my free time doing a variety of activities such as hockey, hanging out with friends, and spending time on my computer. I joined this program because I’ve wanted to work at the intersection of medicine and technology in the future for a while now and I think this program is a great opportunity. I love working with others and I learn best when doing so. I’m extremely excited to work with a team on real issues this summer.

Project/Research Interests: I’m interested in computational pathology and medical image analysis. Specifically I want to work on projects that use machine learning to take clinical information from images or other data and detecting abnormalities or other information that identifies specifics on the patient. Any high-impact areas in AI-driven medicine really interest me and I’m open to all sorts of areas.
