About Me: Hi! My name is Diya Ramakrishnan and I am very passionate about developing AI technologies for healthcare. I have participated in numerous research competitions, such as ISEF and NJSHS, where I have presented my work on creating a pancreatic surgery AI assistant and breath-based cancer detection system. Outside of research, I am Carnatic musician and enjoy all things music related. I’m very excited to continue pursuing medical AI research as part of EDIT AI program!

Project/Research Interests: 1) Machine learning pipelines for gene analysis to predict cancer risk 2) Machine learning pipelines for early cancer detection through use of low-cost, accessible sensing methods 3) Multimodal clinical AI, which combines imaging, biosignals, and EHR data to improve diagnostic accuracy of different conditions
