About Me: Hello! My name is Ethan, and I’m one of the advanced track interns for the summer of 2026. I’m based in San José, CA, so I do operate on Pacific Time!

I joined EDIT because I believe in the power of leveraging technology to help people live longer and healthier lives. That means beginning research with the end game in mind: benefiting patients in real, tangible ways. EDIT is the perfect place to do this because of a deep integration among clinicians with real-life medical insights, research scientists with deep technical expertise, and interns who bring passion and grit to the table.

a little bit about me:

• Broccoli is my favorite vegetable. 🥦
• I really enjoy collecting half dollar coins. My favorite coin is the Eisenhower silver dollar, but those are pretty hard to come by these days. 🪙
• One of my favorite things to do is visiting this park that sits across the water from the runway at SFO. Planes are truly a marvel of ingenuity and precision engineering, so getting to watch them take off and land is always a treat. I think it’s also fun to imagine who’s onboard, where they’re going, and why they’re going to their destination. Sometimes, when you’re lucky, you might see a 747. ✈️
